I have memories of visiting Weymouth with my Grandparents back in the seventies. Weymouth has a large safe beach, ideal for any family holiday.
More recently, after many years absence, I started to take my own family and it became such a hit that I cant imagine summer without visiting Weymouth.

Below are some old photos of Weymouth

Above, the Bandstand dated 1946.

Above a train in the harbour, they no longer us this track.

Shown above, the Kursaal was erected in 1913 to
enclose the Bandstand. It was described at the time as ‘A Miniature Crystal
Palace’. The Kursaal and Bandstand were demolished in 1924, and replaced with
The Alexandra Gardens Theatre.
